MY DESIGN PROCESS
Virtual meeting with client to understand the requirements. Based on the gathered insights, I formulate a strategic plan that aligns with the client's objectives and addresses the needs of the target audience.
This is where ideas are born, explored and developed with the aid of mind maps, mood boards, sketches, and other tools (which may differ depending on the project).
This includes refining the visual elements, typography, color palette, and layout to ensure the design effectively communicates the intended message or functionality.
This stage involves open communication and feedbacks from clients to ensure the final design meets the client's expectations and objectives.
Once the designs are approved, we prepare files for production or development, ensuring that all assets are properly organized and documented for handoff.

Hey there,
I'm Bhavna.
Over the years, my practice has been shaped by curiosity, first through exploration and now through intention. My time at NIFT, Jodhpur nurtured my curiosity and drive to explore, while working with startup-led and growing teams refined my focus on clarity and structure, particularly in periods of change.
Throughout my early years, I explored multiple creative directions to better understand my place as a designer. I resisted limiting myself to a single discipline, choosing instead to explore widely before refining my focus.
It was during my time at the University of the Arts London, and living in London, that my approach truly crystallised. The experience encouraged a slower, more reflective way of working grounded in context, storytelling, and long-term thinking rather than immediacy.
Experiences beyond client work including volunteering as Head Volunteer at Tom Dixon, and engaging with exhibitions, seminars, and industry events further shaped how I see design as something that exists beyond the screen, within lived environments.
Across personal, professional, and academic experiences, I’ve learned to think of design as a system rather than isolated outcomes. This perspective continues to shape how I approach my work today.
Today, my practice sits at the intersection of intentional design and storytelling, guided by experience, reflection, and a commitment to building thoughtfully.
Here’s what I usually work on
WEBSITE
Connecting story to experience
Websites are digital storefronts and storytelling platforms combined. I design with user experience and narrative flow in mind— clear messaging, intuitive navigation, visual design that guides visitors through a story and create experiences that inform, engage, and convert.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Creating meaningful touchpoints
Social media is where brands and audiences connect daily. The work focuses on building genuine engagement through consistent visual storytelling and content that sparks conversation rather than just fills a feed. Content strategies and graphics that prioritize authenticity over trends.
BRAND IDENTITY
Building narratives
Brand identity is about translating story into visual language. I develop cohesive systems that authentically represent a brand's values and create recognition. My approach focuses on consistency and clarity, ensuring every visual element works together to communicate the right message.
